Tujuan Pembelajaran

  1. To identify the language features of descriptive texts pertinent to describing people/character from the inside and outside (aside from the vocabularies learnt on meeting 1);

  2. To identify the descriptive text structure and other language features;

  3. To identify the descriptive text structure and other language features and/or compare the text structure, language features and social function of two similar descriptive texts;

  4. To produce a text describing people from the inside and outside.

Instructions

The first round: Work as fast as your group can to do the live worksheet 1 (text structure: comparing Shane’s and Theo’s descriptions). Discuss it with your group!

Teacher will announces the time each group spent to work on the live worksheet 1 and the best group who gets correct answers than others of the first round.

The second round: Work as fast as your group can to do the worksheet 2 (language features comparing Shane’s and Theo’s descriptions). Discuss it with your group! Teacher will announces the time each group spent to work on the worksheet 2 and the best group who gets correct answers than others of the first round.


The winner is the top scorer. When a tie occurs, both groups are the winners!
